1 yr imprisonment to man for raping 6 yr old girl 6/6/2016 10:59:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 6: Fast Track Court Presiding Officer Kishore Kumar today awarded rigorous imprisonment of one year to a man for raping a six-year-old girl in Sainik Colony area in 2008. The matter was brought to the notice of Sainik Colony police post by the victim father. In his complaint, he alleged that while they had gathered in a function in the neighbourhood, one Anil Singh took her daughter to a room and raped her. While she became unconscious, he fled the spot. On the basis of this complaint, police had registered a case under sections 376 and 511 of RPC. The investigation was conducted by Sainik Colony PP incharge, SI Karan Chalotra. After hearing the two sides, the presiding officer sentenced the accused to one year rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him under section 354 of RPC. In default of payment, he was ordered to undergo simple imprisonment for three months.
