Jammu, June 6: The 24 days long Common Yoga Protocol training designed by Ministry of AYUSH (GoI ) presented by Kaivalyadhama Lonavla Pune, and implemented by Vichar Kranti Manch Int'l in state today concluded. It comprises of 36 hours Yoga Programme, i.e. 10 hours for theoretical and 26 hours for practical Training by the students for five schools of Jammu district. Dr D L Chowdhary Director the Yoga Centre, Central University was the Chief Guest, Prof (Dr) P L Koul, an Educationist, Former University Dean and Head of Department presided over, K K Wadhera, Social Activist, and State Coordinator Anubandh Foundation was Guest of Honour. Chander Mohan Sharma, General Secretary VKMI and Coordinator Value Education PG Course- Annamalaie University gave the details of Common Yoga Protocol with its significance and utility in day to day life, sought assurance from the participants students of various Schools and Teachers to act as Yoga Teachers in their respective Schools, under the periodical guidance of VKMI. Dr. Chowdhary in his speech congratulated VKMI for doing a wonderful work by completing this Common Yoga Protocol, he said that Yoga is competent to creat equanimity between body and mind, that are stepping stones, not hurdles, to an exuberant and fulfilling life. Meanwhile, Prof Sarla Kohli emphasized on students to adopt the Yoga as way of Life, for having a disease free body and stress free mind. It is beneficial to tone up reproductive organs, helps to reduce stress, tension and anger etc, besides increasing the flexibility of the spine and other physical parts of body. Yoga Guru Anil Raina, performed his duty as coordinator of the entire Yoga Programme, has offered his services, once in a month in Schools, to teach and practice Yoga. Indu Sharma, Principal Himmat Learning Field Higher Sec School, presented the vote of thanks to our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ministry of AYUSH, Kaivaly-adhama, Vichar Kranti Manch and all other dignitaries organizers. |
