Forest fire breaks out in Udhampur, 3 km off Army depot 6/6/2016 11:29:57 PM Early Times Report Udahmpur, June 6: Army today sounded alert as fire broke out in forest area of Udhampur district. ''Army is on alert, while police team assisted by fire fighters and fire tenders rushed to the spot, when a devastating fire broke out late this evening in the forest area at Lota Garnei area of Udhampur,'' police sources here said. They said the site of jungle fire is on the highway, leading towards the Rehmabl By-pass. ''The Army's ammunition depot is around three km away from the spot, but troops have been alerted and are on job to douse the flames.''
