LTOU meets Div Com, highlights problems | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 6: A delegation of Local Trucks Owners Union (LTOU), Railway Station, Jammu-Tawi led by Neeraj Anand, President Chamber of Traders Federation met the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Pawan Kotwal today and presented a memorandum of demands and discussed in detail the problems faced by the Local Truck Operators at Railway Goods Shed Jammu. As Railway Station Jammu is going to be modernized / expanded and the Goods Shed Jammu which is catering to the demand of Jammu region is also affected by the same but as on date no discussions are planning part is discussed by Railway authorities with the concerned stake holders i.e. Transporters and businessman those who are bringing their material at Goods Shed Jammu like Cement, Iron, Food Grains, Fertilizers and other general goods. The Divisional Commissioner listened to the demands patiently raised during the discussions and assured President CTF that a meeting will be called with concerned Railway authorities soon in which all the stake holders will also be invited to raise their issues. |
