Early Times Report
jammu June 10: The crime branch (CB) of state police has registered a case against a doctor for allegedly preparing a forged and fake rent deed. A written complaint in this regard was lodged with CB by Krishan Lal Baseen, son of Mangoo Ram Baseen of Lajpat Nagar, Canal Road, here, stating therein that he had rented out one shop and two rooms to Dr Vijay Koul, son of Nath Ji Koul of Anantnag (at present Shivaji Apartment, Sector 14, Rohini, New Delhi) and Ashok Raina of Jagti. He said after relation between them turned hostile, Dr Koul submitted a forged and fake rent deed before the director health services, Jammu, and got his M/s Tawi X-Ray and Diagnostic Centre registered even as there was no such rent agreement executed by him. He alleged that Dr Koul also appended his signatures on the fake and forged rent deed and got them attested by Notary in his absence. CB got signatures of the complainant on both documents verified through FSL which substantiated that the signatures were not that of the complainant. So, Dr Koul, in connivance with some other persons, had prepared a fake and fraudulent rent deed agreement by forging the signature of the complainant intentionally and fraudulently in order to cheat him. After preliminary verification, CB registered a case against Dr Koul under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of RPC. (JNF) |
