Jammu, June 10: High court judge Janak Raj Kotwal today ordered that the government order of relieving the petitioner of the additional charge of medical superintendent of government ayurvedic hospital would remain stayed till objections from the other side. The directive came in a petition filed by Dr Taran Singh, seeking quashment of government order No 315-HME of May 26, 2016, in so far as and to the extent it pertained to withdrawal of the order of adjustment of the petitioner as medical superintendent of government ayurvedic hospital, Jammu. He also sought a direction to respondents to let him discharge his duties as medical superintendent pursuant to order No DG/ISM /Adm/ PS/120 of August 20, 2015. Justice Kotwal, after hearing Dr Taran's counsel, issued notice to the health and medical education secretary and ISM's director general returnable within four weeks and ordered that till objections from other side were filed, operation of the impugned order to relieve the petitioner of the additional charge of medical superintendent and asking Dr Rameshwar Dutt to look after the said post would remain stayed.
