Early Times Report JAMMU, June 10: The enforcement wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has intensified its drive against the encroachers, and a chunk of 5 kanals prime land at PALOURA near KCS College, Jammu, was retrieved today and fenced the retrieved land & installed sign boards over the JDA land. According to official spokesperson, two JCB machines were put to operation for removing the encroachment and encroachment was removed. "The enforcement wing was escorted with the police protection provided by SSP, Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta IPS and the contingent of Police led by SHO Janipur R S Bahu his team rendered full cooperation for successful anti encroachment drive, he added. Spokesperson said that the anti encroachment drive was conducted on the directions of Vice Chairman JDA, under the supervision of Vinay Samotra Secretary/ DLM, JDA, comprising of Revenue/Enforcement Wing, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Tehsildar JDA Zone-A, Tarsem Lal and, field staff. "After removal of the encroachment the Engineering wing of JDA fenced the land by erecting RCC poles & barbed wire fencing, he added. Meanwhile JDA has warned the trespassers and encroachers to desist from trespassing the JDA land on the pretext of fake revenue documents, for which strict action shall be taken against the violators including demolition and registration of FIR against the encroachers. |
