Ashok seeks CM’s intervention to check MV accidents | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: Senior Congress leader and former legislator Ashok Sharma sought personal intervention of State CM Mehbooba Mufti to check the Motor Vehicle accidents on roads due to rash and negligent driving, non-adhering to traffic rules and depleted condition of roads and lack of road safety measures while expressing serious concern and deep shock and agony over the yesterday's Army vehicle -civil car collusion accident at Bhamla, taking away precious lives of two youth. He said that the alarming increase of road accidents have taken away precious lives of thousands of persons and made equal numbers of persons physically challenged by causing serious injuries. While condoling the sad demise of Kewal Krishan and Muneesh Chadda, he further said that these two young persons worked hard and excelled in their respective profession and reached to a level of becoming asset to the society at large besides upliftment of their families. The area has lost two young budding professionals creating a unfillable gap. He joined the prayers for the rest of their departed soil in haven and courage to their families to face this shock and agony due to sudden and untimely death. |
