JAMMU, June 12: A woman SI, who is at present incharge of a police post here, has grown so 'powerful' that she does not give a damn to the orders of her immediate seniors.
"She doesn't care for her immediate seniors and often violates their orders only because of her direct link with a senior police officer who takes care of her postings," police sources said.
With the help of this senior officer, she was now trying to get posted as the incharge of a 'significant' police post in the district, the sources added.
She had joined police as ASI. After becoming SI, she has spent most of her time in Jammu as heads of various police posts.
"While she continues to head the police post since long due to the blessings of the senior officer, others, who were posted as heads of other police posts along with her, have been transferred several times from one place to another," sources said, alleging that she could also be spotted paying visits to the residence of the senior officer.
She was also alleged to have developed good relations with some other senior police officers who possessed 'benami' and 'unlawful' properties in the areas of her jurisdiction.
Sources alleged that she had also got transferred some cops from the police station, under which her police post falls, after they did not obey her orders. |
