People stage protest against I&FC, DDC Poonch 6/12/2016 11:00:30 PM Early Times Report Poonch, June 12: The residents of Purani Poonch staged a protest against XEn irrigation and flood control, DDC Poonch under the leadership of Jugal Kishore Sharma as after so many assurances not even a single step was taken to construct concrete banns to save people from the flood due to Betar Nallah in the near future . A large number of people from Degwar, Malti, Purani Poonch ward no. 16 and 17 attended the meeting and raise slogans against the administration. Kishore alleged that administration is looking with very non serious approach toward the problems being faced by the people of this area he said that the rainy season is coming soon and till now no work for constructing concrete banns is started. Few days back a delegation led by Jugal Kishore met DDC poonch and DDC Poonch assure them to start work as early as possible but till now no work is started.
