| Solve problems of people or face agitation: Pankaj Basotra | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 12: A meeting of Atyachar Brashtachar Mukti Sangathan (ABMS) was held at Chougan Ramkot under the chairmanship of Convenor ABMS Advocate Pankaj Basotra.
Besides large number of local people, sarpanchs of surrounding areas also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting many issues like scarcity of water, electricity, roads and several others were highlighted.
While addressing the gathering, advocate Basotra while issuing warning to the government said that the local public is suffering due to shortage of water and electricity and unavailability of road connectivity but this is very unfortunate that our public representative who instead of visiting or monitoring the ground situation in Billawar constituency are enjoying luxurious life which is all given by the people of Billawar. He said that for the last 5 months he is trying to reach every nook and corner of Billawar constituency to take stock of the basic problems of the people and is also trying to solve them seriously.
He furthers said but this is very unfortunate that the local representative is watching like mute spectator and is not giving attention towards the general problems of people. He also appealed the general public to support the programme and policies of ABMS as it is ready to fight for the common cause of people. |
