SRINAGAR, June 12: Two Kashmiris, who had crossed over to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) in 90s for receiving arms training, returned back here, along with their families under the rehabilitation policy.
Both the persons who returned to Kashmir from across the border along with their families and had ran into some problems, today called on Minister for Education to express gratitude for the State Government's timely intervention.
The Minister said the Government is trying to facilitate the return of the youth, who had crossed over to Pakistan and PoK in early 90's for arms training, but have now shunned the path of violence and are eager to come back and live normal lives.
The State Government has already put in place a rehabilitation policy for such youth and further efforts are being made to make it more comprehensive and effective, he said.
