JKCCA organizes live demo of portrait painting 6/19/2016 10:59:56 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 19: Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts Jammu organized live demonstration of portrait painting and creative landscape painting by KS Gill and Dharminder Sharma from Amritsar at Kala Kendra Jammu. KS Gill and Dharminder Sharma are the eminent artist of the Amritsar, Punjab. ND Jamwal veteran artist and writer of J&K State was the chief guest and Sh. Ashok Mehra a renowned Artist of J&K was guest of Honour while speaking on the function O.P Sharma Director Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts said that the aim of organizing such demonstration program is to give a platform to the senior artist to interact with the young artist. He said that JKCCA is committed to organize more and more such programs at different location of the state to promote the younger generation and to explore their skill in the field of art. The teachers, Students, parents of the students, seniors and young artists attended the function. The prominent among the Guest in the function were Kamal Nain Bhan, TS Bhatra, OP Sakar, DP Abrol, Sahil Bhardwaj and Jatinder Kour. The Chief Guest of the function N.D Jamwal appreciated the role of JKCCA for promoting the Art, Culture and Languages in the state. His Congratulate Pt.
