| Senior citizen accuses PDP Minister of humiliating him | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 19: There seems to be no end to the controversies surrounding a senior PDP Minister as a senior citizen today alleged that the minister used foul language when he called on him in the summer capital.
The senior citizen while divulging details to Early Times said that he approached the minister with a service matter hoping the minister would do some needful in the matter. However, he said he was shocked to listen to the words uttered by the minister in response to his representation.
“My daughter in law belongs to Rajouri and he is posted there as a teacher. Since we are putting up in Srinagar I thought it better to meet the Minister so that she is transferred from her place of posting. I approached the minister with a representation so that some action is taken in the case,” said the senior citizen.
The senior citizen said that he told the PDP Minister that since his daughter in law is married here the department should expedite the possibility of her transfer from Rajouri. On this the minister said that he cannot help in the matter since he is bound by rules and regulations and cannot go against the prescribed norms, said the citizen.
“I renewed my request with the minister but I was shocked to listen to his reply. The Minister said that he is not a Congress minster who would demand five lakhs for a transfer and ask the female teachers (seeking transfer) to pass a night with him. This virtually shocked me more so since it came from a person who is heading the education department and is considered to be upright with highest morals,” said the senior citizen.
