Hurriyat trying to befool international community on KPs issue
6/19/2016 11:10:42 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 19: By announcing their decision to hold dialogue with displaced Kashmiri Pandits has exposed double standard of Hurriyat Conference and other fundamentalist groups of Kashmir Valley. On the one hand, these groups are openly opposing setting up of satellite colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley, while on the other hand they are making announcement to hold interaction with KPs just to befool the international community.
Ironically, these Hurriyat Conference leaders, who have announced to start dialogue with Kashmiri Pandits, are giving calls for strike in Kashmir Valley against bringing back displaced Kashmiri Pandits to their native places.
Credible sources said that fundamentalist leaders of Kashmir Valley have identified some disgruntled elements with whom they will hold the dialogue. These disgruntled elements are those who are already echoing their view point just for petty personal gains. Fundamentalist leaders of Kashmir Valley wanted to discredit present leadership of Kashmiri Pandits by projecting some irrelevant leaders.
Two days back Chairman, Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said recently said that a three-member committee will be soon set up by the resistance leadership to hold talks with the Kashmiri Pandits for their return to the Kashmir Valley.
He said that the Hurriyet leadership was very serious about the return of Kashmiri Pandits. "We are not doing politics on this human issue and are serious for the return of Pandits," he added. He said that the committee would further apprise the Pandits that they would be safe at their native places, rather than the separate townships, which the occupation authorities have decided to establish for them.
He further added that the creation of soldier colonies and implementation of the new Industrial Policy for Kashmir was only an RSS ploy, intended not only to weaken Kashmiris economically but also to settle non-locals to change the demography of the territory.
