Jammu, June 19: GRP Jammu's Police post Vijaypur seized unclaimed cigarettes worth rupees 13 Lakhs. These Cigarettes are being smuggled outside the state bypassing the Tax system. As per Police officials that Gold Flake Super Cigarrettes cost around Rs 32/- per packet in J&K, whereas in rest of the Country and the cost of the Cigarette Rs 40/-per packet. The seizure has been made by IC Railway Police post Vijaypur. As per Commercial Tax Officers total penalty would be around ten lakhs. |
