Plus 2 Lecturers Forum demands coolers in schools | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, June 19: In monthly meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J& K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum which held under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, District President of the Forum, demanded the government to provide cooling facility in schools so that free tuition classes are properly organized in the hot and humid weather conditions. They also urged the government to consider declaring 9th to12th classes be as non vocational to provide them more time for study as students, especially studying in far flung areas can't derive full benefit from free tuition/evening classes in view of weather, residence in remote areas and other factors. They also demanded uploading of the service particulars of all I/C incumbents on the official website of the Department and speeding up the process of regularization of Incharge incumbents and especially of the dropout Incharge lecturers .The speakers demanded that transfer policy be implemented and transfers be effected only during summer/winter breaks. The speakers demanded that before withholding the annual increments of Principals/lecturers for poor result %age ,the factors such as shortage of staff and lack of infrastructural facilities be taken into consideration. The speakers also criticised the JKBOSE for delay in issuing formal order for the appointment of Co-inspectors in schools where two or more examination centres have been constituted. |
