Srinagar , June 19: The Education Department has asked teachers to submit their application forms for the screening test. The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) after identifying the ReTs with degrees from study centres has devised an application form in collaboration with JK Board of School Education (BOSE) and asked the teachers to submit forms by June 22. Secretary School Education department Shaleen Kabra said the screening test has been kept confined to ReT teachers who were yet to be regularised by the department. "From past one year, in wake of the High Court orders, we started the exercise and have identified the ReTs who have obtained degrees from study centres," Kabra said. He said the department will start an exercise to conduct screening test for Regularised ReTs later. "They have already been regularised by the department. So at this stage test is meant for only ReTs." Interestingly, all the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) have been asked to get the form filled by the concerned ReT teachers having degrees from study centres. The ReT teachers have been asked to submit a fee of Rs 300 with the application form. Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) said they have identified over 230 ReT teachers who have obtained degrees from study centres."The test will be conducted in collaboration with JKBOSE," he said. Pertinently, the department has already devised syllabus for the ReT teachers who are likely to appear in the screening test. |
