KPC demands adjustment of PM package KP employees outside valley | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 1: Urging state and centre governments to accept the genuine demands of PM package employees, the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) said that it is most unfortunate that no decision has yet not been taken by the state government to formally shift KP employees posted in valley to Jammu and Delhi in view of constant protests and strike in Kashmir region. While addressing his party activists meeting at New Delhi today, KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that these employees in one voice have already made it clear to the government that they will not return under any condition to Valley in view of their past six years experience of humiliation, gag out, fear and threat of life. They would return only when whole community will be settled their as per their wishes and choice, but unfortunately it has been observed that state government is non-serious and not in favor of shifting these victim employees to Jammu as indicated recently by Deputy Chief Minster and others. KPC chief also lambasted MLA Rashid Engineer for spewing venom against KPs and KP employees for demanding adjustment outside valley. Kundan Kashmiri stated that forcible stay of these handful employees in valley cannot help to indianize the situation there, but needs to formulate some stringent policy in this regard and appealed Home minister and Governor of J&K state to adjust these KP employees in state departments in Jammu region and Delhi on humanitarian grounds. |
