Prominent NC leader made member of Kissan Advisory Board to settle score with a BJP minister Dirty Politics in Disciplined BJP 8/2/2016 12:07:30 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 1: There is strong resentment among a section of BJP leadership after constitution of Kissan Advisory Board (KAB) because some prominent Congress and National Conference (NC) leaders have been inducted in the Board. Although some lower level Congress and NC leaders were made members of the KAB, a prominent NC leader who was fore-front in campaigning against BJP candidates in two seats of R S Pura Sub Division not only made member of the KAB but he is also dominating the Board. Credible sources said that this prominent NC leader was made member of the KAB to teach a lesson to BJP minister because this NC leader had worked against rival of BJP minister during 2014 Assembly elections. A group within BJP wanted to settle some personal score with a party minister so one of the prominent NC leader, who worked against him during assembly elections has given many powers to run the KAB. Credible sources said that vice chairman of the KAB, who is one of the close confident, rather family member of a senior BJP minister, had seemed to be consulted his political mentor before constituting KAB and the said NC leader, who was earlier in Congress, was made member of the Board to create parallel power centre against own party minister. Credible sources further said that appointment of vice chairman KAB, who is enjoying Minister of State (MoS) status, also created resentment in the party because this appointment was made without consulting party leadership as well as other members of the organisation. As the appointed Vice chairman is member of the kitchen cabinet of a senior BJP minister, he was made vice chairman by ignoring genuine leaders like president of the Kissan Morcha of the party. Since his appointment, the KAB vice chairman is working under the influence of that NC leader, who is known for anti-BJP stand from time to time.
