Jammu, Aug 1: An assistant executive engineer (AEE), who has close proximity with a higher ups , is alleged to be calling shots in the department and running a transfer industry.
According to official sources, he has served two terms in particular area with the blessings of the higher ups . Sources alleged that all the transfers in the department were nowadays being done with the AEE's approval.
"He got adjusted himself against a prize post in the PHE Mechanical Procurement Division just a few days after the formation of the Mehbooba-led state government", sources said, alleging that he was now running a transfer industry in the department.
"In an order, more AEEs were transferred by the department and that too within the limits of Jammu city", sources claimed.
"He has served the hydraulic wing for more than 15 years", sources said, adding that there were several other wings in the department, but some engineers always preferred to work in the hydraulic wing and that too within the limits of Jammu city.
"Since his posting in the department, no one is happy with him", said an aggrieved engineer, adding that apart from him, a junior engineer was also alleged to be part of the transfer industry. |
