| Ayoub Khan's high-handedness threatens SHO, demands Rs 1.5 lac bribery | | Says media is sellout, have no fear of judiciary | | AB Sharma

POONCH, Aug 1: In a newer development related to the corrupt naib tehsildar Ayoub Khan of Surankote who had allegedly been supporting another corrupt party in a land scam of 6 kanal and 8 marlas against an SHO of the area, approached the said SHO and demanded a bribe of Rs 1.5 lacs to shift the case in his favour.
This was revealed by the SHO, against whom this Ayoub Khan have been pursuing the ill-motive of the other corrupt party, the report of which have been already published in this newspaper of dated July 17.
The SHO while talking to the Early Times said that allegedly after having failed to mint money out of the second party, Ayoub Khan visited this SHO's home with a threat and warning to shell Rs 1.5 lac and get the papers of the land transferred in his name.
It is already stated that such land case is subjudice and this Naib Tehsildar, already having tempered the court order have been prevailing over the court without any fear , having said," I do not care for the judiciary,".
The Naib Tehsildar Ayoub Khan had hatched a conspiracy against the genuine police officer tried to get him indicted in some foul play and hence got a fake FIR registered against the police officer in Surankote, police station on June 8, 2016.
Though his act was against the ruling of the court that when the court had given the stay on the land, the corrupt naib tehsildar got the fake FIR against the police official.
The said Naib tehsildar had also threatened the police SHO to indict him in some malicious case by using women against him and implicate him in the molestation by slapping sections 354 and 376 against him if he did not withdrew the stay.
In new development, this Naib Tehsildar, allegedly after having failed to siphon off money from the other powerful party had approached this SHO and asked for a bribe worth Rs 1.5 lacs.
When this SHO tried to contact some media to aware about Ayoub Khan's illegal demands, the naib tehsildar even went to the extent of defaming the fourth estate.
"Go to any media and conduct any press conference wherever you wish, I damn care for media as all are sellouts, " the naib tehsildar even dared to say.
It is pertinent to mention here that the particular naib tehsildar owns a very notorious reputation for being a goon and a right-hand man of many top officials of the state administration as well as the politicians.
"Many administrative officials take my view point before undertaking any work plan," he boasted of himself.
This naib tehsildar Ayoub Khan has got a vigilance enquiry too pending against him where he had committed a fraud and was rounded up in the vigilance dragnet.
"What harm vigilance has done against me? No department is above me and I damn care for any," he threatened.
Such threats have left the SHO in a tight spot who has appealed to the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to take personnel cognizance of the issue and take stern steps against the Naib Tehsildar Ayoub Khan who has become a great threat to the entire area. |
