AMEAK protest enters 17th Day, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 1: The protest by employees under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir has entered into seventeenth day with All Party Migrant Camp Coordination Committee along with minority cell of National Conference and other social organisations extended full support to employees in their struggle. Holding placards in hands, hundreds of employees were raising slogans in support of their demands at the site of protestwhile seeking immediate redress to their issues without any further delay. These employees seem scared after their quarters at many places were attacked by the anti-social elements during the violence. They claimed that their life has been marred by so many reasons since their appointment in valley. Demanding that they should be adjusted in migrant cells of various departments including schools till the final road map for return of the Pandits to valley would be prepared, these aggrieved employees said that they have faced lot of troubles during their workings in valley and cannot tolerate any further intimidation and suppression. "We believe that the four member committee constituted by the BJP must have understood our issues and we are hopeful of some positive outcome in today's meet with BJP," said one of the core committee members, Kamal Pandita, adding that they have already brought their grave concerns into the notice of BJP committee and were expecting good results. |
