Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 1: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & justice (MPEJ) have expressed their grave concern over the untimely payment of the charges of the BTS towers erected by BSNL at different locations in the premises of the private persons in Jammu District.
It has been observed that the BSNL authorities are not making the payments on account of the charges payable to the employees engaged by it for watch and ward purposes of the BTS towers on monthly basis. BSNL authorities which is supposed to release the payments on this count on monthly basis, is found to be making payment after 3 to 4 months which is very injustice towards these employees as these employees are also seen to be entirely dependent on these charges. The 4 month's salary of watch & ward employees is yet balance till date which is very injustice with these poor helpless employees. The BSNL authorities are therefore urged upon to look into the grievances of these poor employees and expedite its process in releasing the above said monthly charges on regular basis.
