Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organizes medical camp | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 1:Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organizes medical camp and Nature Study Programme at Mantalai to mark the martyrs day of Mahatama Gandhi. According to press release, Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Director Indian System of Medicine in his message said that the Ayurved have an age old acceptance both at home and abroad, J&K being no exception there is paradigm shift towards AYUSH World over, more and more people are attracted towards this system. He informed that Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu have treated more than 46000 patients in OPD , 4400 in Surgical OPD and 4500 in Panchkarma. He further said that in Ayurvedic Hospital 720 surgical intervention are done during last year through knife less Kashar Sutra surgical procedures. During last period of time many patients shifted to Ayurvedic method of treatment by the awareness done by Government Ayurvedic Hospital through its outreach programme in which thousands of patients (4500) got benefitted. The camp was inaugurated by Balwinder Singh Sarpanch of Mantalai. Speaking on the occasion he said that this is first ever such camp organized in this area. He thanked Medical Superintendent Dr. Taran Singh for organizing camp in which 345 patients suffering from different ailments were treated in the camp. |
