CTF hails extension for filing VT payment and return 8/1/2016 11:10:59 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 1: A meeting of the members of Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) was convened here today by its President Neeraj Anand. Speaking on behalf of the trading community that forum an integral part of the citizenry of all faiths of Jammu, Anand sincerely thanked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and the Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb A. Drabu also the officials of Finance and Commercial Taxes Department who have responded positively to the appeal for deferment of Vat Tax payment and returns. "In the light of present turmoil in the Valley the decision taken is a very kind gesture and most welcome "He said. Now CTF also renews its appeal to the Income tax Department to adopt a similar approach towards its assesses in all the regions of the State. He thanked department for extending the date for submission of IT returns till 31 August in J&K State.
