Local protest over bad road connectivity, block Sinthan-Kashmir road 8/1/2016 11:14:15 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar Aug 1: Irked over bad road connectivity the people of village Kuchhan of Mughalmaidan of Chatroo Sub Division and its adjoining areas in Kishtwar District today blocked Kishtwar-Sinthan-Srinagar road at village Dadpath to registered their protest over poor road condition of Dadpath-Miyan road beside over the failure of R&B department in construction of 600 meter road link from village Miyan to Kuchhan. Protesters alleged despite the fact that the survey of the road link has been completed over two years ago and the work has also been allotted for execution of the said road link. As per the details available "Early Times", large number of people including women and children from village Kuchhan assembled at Dadpath early this morning at around 7;00 am and block the Kishtwar-Srinagar road for over five hours causing inconvenience to the people traveling on this very busy road. The agitators also alleged despite repeated request to the concern administration and the R&B department, the work on Miyan-Kuchhan road link has not been started at stretch of some 500 mtrs between Miyan to Kuchhan.
