| A couple of mails some time from kishnet , a mail site under name and style Kashmir Globe network which is operated Pro Pak/Independence group from Amsterdam/England and America it has members such as Fai ,Moderate Dr Shabir Choudry my nephews Javed Inayat, Waheed Kashir and others reasonable ones too incl Sikhs pleading for Khalistan operated from Canada etc trouble shooters.Used to be a subscriber helped me to know their views beside found our own who made for life to other side per force as circumstances were such once.
`This site widely contributed and read despite ideology at variance .Some plead for Pakistan other for Independence some let there be reconciliation , beside some want pot to hate killing charged atmosphere going. At the same time some toe line of CIA beside ISI .This site pleads as such for the state of jammu and Kashmir.
One that India is enemy of Pakistan and to be dealt with as such with war and another till the time Kashmir issue is not resolved , Pakistan should do no business with it, has made me to pondering on the both proposition for some time now that while we should make borderless countries , free trade , travel like the European union where the constituent countries fought with each other for about 150 years besides two wars which engulfed and spared none unscathed any country on this planet, devastation these created had been staggering in both human lives and material whose scares are still there to reminding us constantly the futility of such adventures I had been wishing that in my life time to see through the proposal and avail it which Sardar Manmohan Singh had suggested that an conducive atmosphere is required so that an ordinary man on this subcontinent shall enjoy , breakfast at Lahore , lunch at Islamabad and dinner at Peshawar but above referred school of thought dimmed my hope a bit , but not died altogether with a consolation to myself that if not me but let those yet come or young may one day taste this fruit of hope strength the SAARC This took me back to memory lane of 1971, atmosphere was charged with everybody was tense away due to , en mass . migration to India of East Pakistanis now Bangladeshi of mostly Bengali origin, clouds of war were hovering which all wished to be drifted away . I was in Reasi , a tehsil headquarter , now again district H. Q as was in pre independence days , Radio was at that time only source to keep one abreast with the goings around, Evening used to bring our Mohalla gentry together at a convenient place because even Transistors were a commodity of a few to posses ,to listen, analyze ,react and debate what is being transmitted on various radio station , Jammu ,all India Radio and off course Pakistan.
One evening Jammu station went off the air , I cried just to mock that Pakistan has attacked , and that was true Yahiya khan plunged the country to avoidable war and dismembering its own for which millions had sacrificed and Jinnah had accepted moth eaten Pakistan . Pakistan Radio station stations were feeding war hysteric news and propaganda , though natural for a country at war, but had become laughing stock here in this part reminding us as it was still fresh in our memory of 1965 so called groundless achievements beamed by across the border Radio Sadaay Kashmir. Radio station Lahore used to open its 5pmbulletin with a war cry DEEAY RAAGAADA MOOK JAAEYAY BAAR- BAAR DAA CHAAGDA , DEEAY RAAGAADA [Give severe blow so as to end repeated quarrel]It was a regular feature till the day fall of Decca , I rejoiced it because of their stupidity,, so next day I was very particulate to hear the reaction from that station , at exact 5pm , radio on tuned to Lahore station , announcer said it is radio Pakistan Lahore , now you hear NAAT AND SONGs , that DEEAY RAAGAADA was conspicuously missing. Exchange of hearts, not rhetoric of war cries or blockade ,RAAGAADA is need of the hour, let us fight instead social evils , ensure together that no one goes hungry or half fed to sleep , die for want of proper medical treatment, deprived of education ,exploitation, flesh trade , want , abject poverty. |
