AJCSF welcomes Civil Society of Kashmir's appeal to end crises | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 9: Civil Society has appealed for peace in the trouble torn Kashmir Valley where the life has remained paralyzed for more than two months now. The people aghast and sandwiched between the terror threats, 'bandh calls' and agitations on one hand and the government ordered curfew and restrictions on the other were left rudderless in the middle of a crisis situation. The Civil Society in Kashmir, therefore, may show the light of dawn after a long night of darkness. Welcoming the formation of the Kashmir Civil Society the Convener of AJCSF Gulchain Singh Charak said that this is a very positive development and called upon them to join hands and synergies our efforts for the betterment of our people of the State. He also called upon the Ladakh region to form a similar Civil Society Forum and let all the three regions make a joint and collective effort in one voice for the cause of restoration of peace, normalcy and push forward the other development activities. Charak also appealed to the people of Jammu province to rise above their party affiliations and join hands to strengthen the Forum for maintaining the age old communal harmony and saving this peaceful region from any type of fall out of the present turmoil in Kashmir. He also appealed to the central and state governments to make civil secretariat fully functional at Jammu which is the summer capital of the State to stop the misrule and worst type of corruption due to the non functioning of the government. |
