The SHO who prefers to serve only at places of his choice 9/9/2016 11:51:31 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 9: The state transfer policy doesn't apply to this 'influential' SHO as he has been managing his transfers to the places of his choice without any problem. In the past few months, he has managed four transfers with the help a senior police officer. He earlier headed an important police station in Jammu. From here, he was transferred to another district where again he was posted as SHO. After serving there for a few months, he again got himself transferred to Jammu, police sources said. In Jammu, he was posted in a senior officer's office which controls the whole of Jammu region. A few days after his posting in the office, he came to know that the SHO of an important police station at Ramban had been transferred. Soon thereafter, he got himself transferred to Doda-Ramban range, the sources added. "The moment the police station SHO is relieved, the influential SHO will replace him in all likelihood. A senior police officer has already spoken to the officer concerned at Ramban for his posting at the police station," sources informed.
