Harassed by BJP, business community knocks RSS door | Sangh functionaries asked to keep close watch on 2 ministers | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 9: Some BJP ministers in the coalition government are on the radar of RSS following a number of complaints of corruption against them. The victims have approached Nagpur headquarters of the RSS and lodged complaints, alleging that the ministers have been harassing them and demanding huge amounts of money. According to the reliable sources, the RSS headquarters has taken these complaints very seriously as the complainants this time are not ordinary persons but very high profile businessmen who have good connections with top Sangh Parivar functionaries. Sources said there are complaints against two senior ministers, who allegedly demanded bribe from the complainants for carrying out their business activities in Jammu and Kashmir. While one minister is accused of demanding a share in advance before finalization of the business contract, another went to the extent of forcing the victims to close down their business operations in the state, sources explained. The RSS headquarters was already aware about corrupt deeds of some BJP ministers, but the complaints were not taken seriously since the victims were not high profile people like this time. If sources are to be believed, these high profile complainants were guided to approach the RSS headquarters by a senior BJP leader and minister in the central government after he realized that the party high command was unwilling to listen to the complaints for unknown reasons. Though no action has yet been initiated over the complaints, sources said that the RSS has put both the ministers on its radar and directed the Sangh functionaries to keep a close watch on activities of the BJP ministers. |
