| Rotary Club organizes plantation programme | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 9: Rotary Club of Rajouri today organised a plantation programme at Delhi Public School (DPS) and Tariq College of Education (TCE) today. Assistant Governor, Lokesh Bakshi led the Rotary club volunteers along with Umesh Sharma, district secretary. Speaking on the occasion, Lokesh Bakshi highlighted the importance of trees and environment in our lives and said that both the campus needed more and more green cover and lots of trees in order to create a congenial atmosphere suitable for imparting quality education.
He sought meaningful cooperation from the student fraternity for such successful endeavors in the future also.
District president and district secretary also spoke on the occasion on the importance of tree plantation. Principals of both the institutions welcomed the Rotary Club Officials for their initiative of tree plantation and creating awareness of environment friendliness in the society and said trees are best friends of human beings. |
