Vehicle thief held, stolen Scorpio recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 9: Hari Market police today claimed to have recovered a stolen scorpio from Rajouri district with the arrest of the vehicle thief. Police sources said, "On August 26, a black colour scorpio with temporary registration number JMU BB 9444 was stolen after it was parked near City Heart Hotel at Hari Market and the owner of the vehicle lodged report in this regard on 30 August at police post Hari Market after searching it hard at his own." "Acting on the compliant, a case under FIR no 64/2016 u/s 379 of RPC was registered and In-Charge Police Post Hari market SI Sumeet Sharma under the supervision of SHO City, Inspector Shakti Sharma, SDPO North Vivek Shekhar and SP North Vinod Kumar started investigations and detained some suspects, they said. Sources said, "During questioning police came to know about another suspect identified as Mohd Farooq son of Mohd Hussain of Kakora Manjakot Rajouri and he was detained. After sustained interrogation, he broke down and confessed his crime and on his disclosures police recovered the stolen Scorpio from Kakora village of Manjakote. |
