| World mum against taming Pakistan that exports terror | | | Delhi is desperate.Prime Minister Modi is upset over the way Pakistan has been teasing and tormenting people and the security forces in Kashmir during the last one month. In fact the killing og of a militant commander, Burhan Wani is a month long incident but during these 30 days there have been 75 death and several thousand injuries as a result of clashes between protesters, protesting against Wani's killing in an encounter, and the security forces. Among the injured ar e over 3,000 security personnel.
During the last one month 20 to 30 people get injured in clashes with the security forces.Life has remained paralysed and Delhi tried to engage separatists in talks so that peace was restored to Kashmir but the separatists turned down the offer for talks and slighted senior opposition leaders who had called on Geelani and others.It is not only these events but occasional ceasefire violations by the Pakistani troops to push groups of militants and militants having become so much active that they managed to snatch rifles from four policemen
This what has irritated Modi who has berated Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said there is "one country in our neighbourhood" which "produces and exports" terror as he called on the international community to isolate and impose sanction on "this" instigator."
There's one country in our neighbour- hood whose competitive advantage rests solely in producing and exporting terrorism," he said in his address at the East Asia Summit, without naming Pakistan.This export is reducing space for peace and increasing space for violence, and, putting at risk peace and prosperity of all," he said in the presence of the US President Barack Obama and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang "The time has come to isolate and sanction this instigator," Modi added.
The Prime Minister's fresh jibe directed at Pakistan came four days after he called on other BRICS members to intensify joint efforts to combat terrorism and sought "coordinated actions" by the grouping to "isolate supporters and sponsors of terror".Well Modi has been able to convince various nations,including those that are included in the list of super powers but each nation has its political and geographical interests.
Hence no action against Pakistan which receives ample dose of military and non-military aid from China and it is the support of China for Pakistan that seems to have unnerved various countries which do not want to annoy China for the sake of India. Here lies the tragedy.
Well the country that produces and exports terror is itself in soup as series of explosions take place in which scores of people are killed.In fact the US and other European nations need to coordinate their efforts for taming Pakistan which exports terror.
What is unfortunate that these countries have remained unmoved when Pakistan has been exporting terror to Kashmir for the last 27 years.Enough is enough.Let the world community do something about it. |
