Jammu, Sept 9: The Department of Cooperative Bank Supervision (DCBS), Reserve Bank of India, Jammu conducted a Capacity Building Training Program for Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs). According to press release, the programme was inaugurated by A.K. Mattu, General Manager (Office-In-Charge), Reserve Bank of India, Jammu, who in hisinaugural address emphasised on Capacity building and continuous skill updation. The programme included sessions on KYC / AML guidelines, Credit Management, Income Recognition andAsset Classification (IRAC) norms, Classification and Valuation of Investments etc. The sessions were handled by H. K. Khare, General Manager and T.Rajgopal, Assistant General Manager, the faculty invited from College of AgriculturalBanking (CAB), RBI,Pune. A total of 66officers / staff of The Citizen's Cooperative Bank Limited (CCBL), Jammu and six from Devika Urban Cooperative Bank Limited (DUCBL) ,Udhampur attended the programme. The sessions were very interactive and the effort of RBI in conducting such programmes was appreciated by the participants. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the participants. |
