Jammu, Sept 9: All J&K State Tenshinkan Karate Do Championship cum selection organised by J&K sports Karate Do Association was held on September 7, at Rotary Club, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Dushyant Choudhary. Seven schools with 318 students participated in the event and students of JK Public School, Kunjwani, made the school proud by winning State First Runner-up trophy. In Senior Category Boys, the school got 11 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, while Girls got 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. In Junior Category Boys , the school clinched 8 Gold, 9 Silver and 21 Bronze, while girls got 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze. The Gold medal winners have been selected for the Nationals. The Principal, SK Singh, congratulated the efforts of the coach Gopal Dass.
