The suffocated leaders are considering to quit, it has been learnt. The leader, who has become very close to Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir, had managed a ticket in 2014 assembly elections from a seat of Kathua district, had failed to save even his deposit but still he is behaving like a dictator. Credible sources in the Congress said that the same leader, who lacks mass following unlike his father, is trying to influence PCCleaders due to his financial power. The Congress workers fear he might hijack the party in coming days. He is indirectly threatening other leaders of Kathua district. Credible sources said that due to attitude of this leader, some senior leaders of the party of Kathua district are feeling suffocated and they are going to leave the party in the coming days. Sources said that a senior Congress leader, who had won 2002 assembly elections from a hilly constituency of Kathua district, would be the first leader to quit the party. The arrogant Congress leader had managed assembly tickets from the same constituency at the cost of that senior leader. It was all due to his links at Delhi that the arrogant Congress leaders managedticket and failed to save his deposit. Furthermore the same Congress leader was under scan in a sensational crime in the city butat that time he was not even questioned due to influence of his father. |
