| Outsider officials abandon offices, people suffer | | | Early Times Report
poonch, Oct 31: Border district Poonch has six tehsils, seven blocks, many CD blocks and many other lower level offices where the officers from outside the district are posted.
Many tehsildars, BDOs, Naib tehsildars, bank officers and employees and many other district, tehsil, subdivision, tehsil and block level officers, who are belonging outside of Poonch district left their offices early in the weekend and came back to offices on Monday or Tuesday.
According to the sources the people are bothered a lot due to absence of officials from their offices and allegedly said, it is high level corruption to left their offices before the leaving time.
A local Muhammed Shafi of Mendhar said, he visited a district level office for some official work on Friday where employees of the department informed him that the officer has gone to home.
He further said he once again came back to said office where the officer was not come back to office.
He and many other locals said Poonch has many far flung villages which are about hundred kilometer away from Poonch town, who suffer while finding officers absent from offices.
People appeal to deputy commissioner Poonch Muhammed Harun Malik to look after the such offices where outsiders officials are posted. |
