Missing boy re-united with family after four years | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 7: A 10 year old body who went missing four years ago has re-united to family with the hectic efforts of Rajesh Kumar Shavan who has been assigned the custody of the Juvenile by the then DC Samba four years ago. As per the details available with "Early Times" the boy named Rakesh had arrived here in Samba in a train in 2013 where P/S Ghagwal noticed the boy and produced him before the Deputy Commissioner Samba. The boy was illiterate and due to tender age could not even divulge the address and could only manage to tell the name of his parents, so the police could not trace his address. Accordingly SHO P/S Ghagwal produced the minor boy before the Court of Additional District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Shavan who happened to be the ADC Samba who tried at his level to trace the address of missing boy at that time but could not succeed. However in the meanwhile the Additional District Magistrate got the boy admitted in Bal Ashram Hostel run by the Social Welfare Department at RS Pura and remained in touch with the boy. As a goodwill gesture the officer used to meet the boy on the occasion of Diwali and keep the boy with his family for a week. Luck struck this time on the occasion of Deewali, that the boy who comparatively grew in age could pronounce the name of one of his neighboring village "BOUNSLI". Mihir Shavan Son of RK Shavan who is student of Class 6th, started tracking on internet and ultimately narrowed down on some places which give a lead. Ultimately, the matter was taken up with the District Superintendent of police of Raigarh District who traced the exact address of the boy and got verification done. |
