Project Director SSA lands in VO net 12/7/2016 10:57:23 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 7: Former Project Director Sarv Siksha Abhiyan has been booked by the state vigilance organization for issuing an order in violation of government directive for extending illegal financial gains to an employee. During Joint Surprise Check conducted by Vigilance Organization into the allegations of adjustment of Murtaza Hussain against the post of System Analyst in the Directorate Office of the Sarva Shiksha Abhyan it was found that the then State Project Director, SSA vide Society order No. 146 Ujala of 2010 dated 28/05/2010 ordered that Murtaza Hussain who has been placed/adjusted against the post of Assistant Programmer vide Govt. Order No. 331-Edu of 2007 dated 24/09/2007 shall be paid the salary attached to the post of System Analyst retrospectively with effect from July 2009. The order has been issued by the then Director SSA with ulterior motives/criminal intention as it being beyond his authority and in total violation to Govt. Order No. 331-Edu of 2007 dated 24/09/2007 where by sanction was accorded only to the adjustment/placement of Murtaza Hussain Mir as Assistant Programmer SSA working in the office of Chief Education Officer, Anantnag against the post of System Analyst in the State Project Directorate of SSA on the terms and conditions as laid down in the initial engagement order as Assistant Programmer purely on contractual basis at the consolidated amount of Rs. 6000/- per month vide order No. 101/B-Ujala of 2004 dated 01/06/2004, thereby causing a loss to the tune of Rs. 3,67,908/- w.e.f December 2009 to March 2014 to the State Exchequer the then State Project Director, SSA . As such, Case FIR No. 24/2016 P/S VOJ has been registered in Vigilance Organization, Jammu u/s 5(2) P.C Act 2006 r/w Section 120-B RPC on the prima facie establishment of offences on the part of the aforementioned accused public servant the then State Project Director, SSA.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
