| JKPS celebrates Armed Forces Flag Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 7: Seventh of December is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day throughout the country to honour the retired as also the serving personnel of the Armed Forces particularly the martyrs , who fight on borders to safeguard the country .
On this special day, the Senior Wing of JK Public School, Kunjwani remembered the services rendered by the forces by conducting a special assembly. The pledge for serving the nation's pride was taken up by everyone present in the assembly. A patriotic song was sung followed by a speech on the topic 'The importance of Armed Forces and their Flags'.
A concerted effort was made to raise the contribution from the students and staff for the Armed Forces Flag Day. Everybody contributed generously for the Armed Forces Flag Day funds as mark of respect to the martyrs and valiant soldiers.
Principal S.K Singh in his address highlighted the significance of this day. He said that we should contribute to nations safety and integrity and appreciated the students for donating on the Flag Day. |
