| Shamsher Hakla demands to redress demands of nomadic community | | | Early Times Report
Poonch Dec 7: Prominent Muslim Gujjar leader and Intellectual of J&K Shamsher Hakla Poonchi today asserted that the problems and need of Gujjar-Bakarwal are quite different from other communities of the J&K state and demanded due redressal of their long pending demands. "Gujjar Bakarwal community is different and as such the community has a distinct identity, veteran Gujjar leader said, adding, "it would be only then that their economical, educational, political and social backwardness could be removed if the government extends due justice to demands of this particular community." Seeking all round development of Gujjar & Bakarwal community of J&K , Shamsher Hakla Poonchi appealed to Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India for special recruitment in Army and other para military forces for Gujjar Bakarwals. Shamsher Hakla Poonchi also demanded from Prime Minster of India to sanction special development.
