NPSU decries discrimination in recruitment process

Jammu, Dec 7: NPSU organized a protest demonstration against the discrimination that took place with youth of Jammu. Recently, JKPSC did appointment for the posts of associate professors for the subject's physics & English, in which the qualified youth of Jammu was discriminated. Out of 26 posts in physics ,19 were selected from Kashmir and only 7 persons from Jammu were selected, same was the case with the English stream in which out of 101 posts, 71 were offered to Kashmiri youth and only 30 posts were left for the Jammu youth. Speaking on the occasion president NPSU Thakur Virender Singh said that Govt. of J&K is totally ignoring the youth of the Jammu region, moreover the BJP who had received its 100 percent mandate from Jammu had surrendered before the PDP for the best of power. He further said that incidents like these shows us the real face of the BJP leaders, who before election were presenting them as the protector are now in a deep sleep & never raise the issue of the people of Jammu. Singh further said that Govt. should provide special quota for the aspirants of Jammu, so the discrimination with stooped. Singh questioned the 27 MLA of BJP that what had made them quite on the issue of discriminator with Jammu outh. He added the Jammu Pradesh have witness streak of discrimination specially with youth of Jammu in field of govt job recruitment but this was BJP who promised to break the streak of discrimination after coming into power but today BJP have been exposed completely in front of Jammuites as none of the BJP leader have time to raise voice of Jammuites. Senior youth leader Mohinder Singh Pandu said that before election BJP had promised Jammuites to end the discrimination with Jammu region. But after getting power all 27 MLA have closed eyes and they are busy in enjoying power.
Singh warned BJP-PDP Govt. to stop discrimination with Jammu region or be ready to face the resentment of Jammuites. Others present were lovely Singh, Rajan Sharma, Shubam Jostria, Wasim, Sudesh Badyal, Kewal Sharma, Chetan Sharam, Kailish Mohan.
