JKPPM flays opponents of 'demonetization', cautions not to misguide people | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 7: Welcoming the demonetization move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, J&K Pahari People Movement (JKPPM) today has termed it in favor of middle class, honest employees and common man and criticized frustrated corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, industrialists and others who are trying their best to misguide the people of the country. "The Prime Minister's move of demonetization is not less than a surgical strike against the land mafia, corrupt officials, black marketers, black money holders etc which was also appreciated by the leading economists of the country." said Shahbaz Khan, Chief Executive J&K Pahari People Movement (JKPPM) here today. Khan added corruption and black money was deeply rooted in the country and the common man was becoming poorer and the rich were becoming more rich. "Demonetization has shown the door to the corruption as so much unaccounted money," said Khan, adding the immediate effects of demonetization started pouring in as the cost of real estate came down to nearly half because of the black part of the value of property doesn't exist anymore. Suresh Kumar, General Secretary, JKPPM said that this move will serve as boon for the honest people and will prove productive in the consumer market. He further said that introduction of digital currency will reduce the load on the banks and at the ATMs and this will not only make transactions easy but will also come down heavily on corruption as every financial activity will be under the lens of appropriate vigilance authority. "The major achievement of the demonetization is curb on the Hawala network which pumps money from across the borders into the country for anti-national activities and for terrorism," said both the leaders of JKPPM. |
