TS visits village Basantpur, listens grievances of public

Sunderbani, Dec 19: Team Sunderbani headed by its Coordinator Arun Kumar Sharma today visited villages Basantpur, Una, Bhamalya, Katali-Gala, Saryo, Dueleo thangraot Kanda to get appraisal of the difficulties of the public there. During interaction, the people told that they are facing a lot of difficult to get any work pertaining to Revenue Department as the Tehsil headquarter is 30 to 35 kilometres away from their villages where it is very difficult to reach.
Local inhabitants told that government opened Niabats office in village Bhamalya with the assurance that Naib Tehsildar shall be attending the problems of public there, but the office has not been put to operation so far. They informed that most of people are without Adhaar Card because the Tehsil headquarters is far away; hence the public has been deprived of this facility. It was revealed that inhabitants of village Basantpur are without drinking water and electricity supply for the last sixty years and are bound to drink unhygienic water fetched from local nallahas. It was told that all the PHE schemes are confined to papers and nothing has been done on ground and people demanded probe into the scam in PHE working in their village.
Team Sunderbani was aghast to learn that in the present modern age of scientific advancement, people are without electricity and using old methods of light in their homes at night. Besides, the road connectivity is very poor as roads are in a dilapidated condition.
Arun Kumar Sharma Coordinator Team Sunderbani have a patient hearing to the grievances of public and assured them that their problems shall be taken up with concerned authority for redressal of their grievances. Others who were present on the occasion were Amit Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Gurab Sharma, Joginder Pal, Krishna Lal, Ashok Kumar, Kamal Singh, Babu Ram, Chaman Lal, kala Khan, Nazeer Hussain, Iqbal Amadh, Shamim Akhter and others.
