Govt casual employees demand regularization policy 12/19/2016 10:56:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 19: A massive protest demonstration was organized by Jammu Kashmir Government Causal Workers and Employees at MAM Stadium to press the state government for immediately settlement of burning demands of the casual workers which are pending since long time. According to press release, the protest was organised under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees, Casual Labours, Workers and Pensioners United Platform. Raising the long pending demands, they alleged that the state coalition government has miserably failed to uphold the commitment with the casual labourers of all the departments numbering more than 60,000 despite assurances on the floor of the house through press and discussion with the representatives of the working class. Thousands of casual labourers / government employees / Anganwari workers and pensioners under the leadership of their respective associations unions assembled in MAM stadium and raised slogans in support of their demand and also demanded immediate settlement of the burning demands of the state working class. While addressing the massive rally, Senior Trade unionist, Mohammed Gafoor Dar, Gafoor Dar, Kulwant Singh, Comrade Hari Singh and others warned the government not to test the patience of state working class particularly casual labours of all the departments.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
