Panchayat Ghar Kenth awaiting completion for more than five years 12/19/2016 10:56:20 PM Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch, Dec 19: It is to be noted that the panchayat Kenth is facing great difficulty in the past due to paper work and related problems for the Panchayat Ghar which still is lying incomplted for the last five years. Local reports said, due to some confrontation between locals, the Panchayat Ghar Kenth (Sawjian) is yet to complete. According to the sources the village Sawjian is located at very Zero Point of the LoC and a Panchayat Ghar is without ceiling. Locals of the area told Early Times that one family has constructed a temporary shed in the said Panchayat Ghar while due to negligence of Panchs, sarpanch the Panchayat , the Panchyat Ghar is lying incomplete till now. Interestingly in the absence of Panchayat level office, panchyat meeting are conducted at one or the other place. Locals also further said that the authorities of the Rural Development Department (RDD) are allegedly involved in this fiddling of funds as higher authorities yet have failed to initiate any action against the officials at the helms of affairs. Agitated over the uncompleted building of Panchyat Ghar, the locals have appealed to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Poonch, Mohammed Harun Malik to personally intervene into the matter and resolve this issue.
