Jammu, Dec 19: In compliance of guidelines issued by the MHRD, Govt. of India (GOI), Indira Gandhi National Open University is providing fee exemption for Schedule Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates for various Bachelor degree programmes like B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BCA, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies.
In a Press Statement, Regional Director, Joginder Kumar Yadav informed that Regional Centre Jammu has provided Fee exemption to 455 freshly enrolled students for various Bachelor Degree programmes in July 2016 admission session. Total Fee exempted amounts to Rs.9,48,500/- (Rs. Nine Lakh forty eight thousand and five hundred).
For the ongoing session, i.e., January 2017, for which the admission date has already been extended upto 30th December, 2016, eligible and interested candidates may apply on proforma published at Annexure-V on page no. 179 given in the Common Prospectus 2016-17.
