Jammu, Dec 19: Pathways International School, Kathua on Monday inaugurated Pathways Olympics-2016 an annual sports event in the school campus. According to press release, the opening ceremony of much awaited event of the year was chaired by Dr. Divij Suri, Chairman of the school whereas Kunal Anand, Principal of the school was the master of the ceremony.
Pathways Olympics 2016 will be a weeklong affair where students of the school will be displaying their best skills in athletics and sports. The final will be held on 25th Dec, 2016 at the school campus.
While giving details of the event the Principal Kunal Anand said, that Pathways Olympics is an annual event of the school, it's an inter student and inter house event where students participate in various sports and athletics in a week long ceremony. The pre final will be held spread across this week and the finals will be held on 25th Dec.
Various sports events like inter house Kabaddi, basketball, foot ball and cricket will be held this week, in athletics events like high jump, long jump, 200 meters race, relay race etc, shall be held.
Dr. Divij Suri, while declaring the opening for week long Pathways Olympics 2016-17, said that he is proud to be a part of this event, where young sportpersons are participating. |
