Jammu, Dec 19: Amateur Karate Do Association organised today two day Jammu and Kashmir State Karate Championship-2016 at MA Stadium, Jammu.
According to press release, the Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu & Kashmir (AKAJK) recognized by J&K State Sports Council affiliated to Karate Association of India (KAI) recognized by Government of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports) member World Karate Federation (WKF) & Asian Karate Do Federation (AKF) recognized by International Olympic Committee (IOC).
More than 400 participants from different districts viz Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Reasi, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Anantnag,, Kupwara, Kishtwar , Leh , Kargil, Udhampur, Baramulla, Pulwama are participating in the tournament here at M A Stadium Indoor Multipurpose Hall Jammu. It is pertinent to mention that the Medal Winners of the all Categories of the state will get the opportunity to participate in KAI Sub Junior, Cadet, Junior, National Championship to be held from 11 to 14 May in 2017 at New Delhi and Kai Senior National Karate Championship 2017 to be held from 25 to 26 Feb 2017 at Goa . |
